The cumulated dose can induce a degradation of electrical and functionnal parameters up to the destruction of the electonic component.

TRAD is designing test benches allowing the drifts measurement after each irradiation step for different dose rates and according to the evaluated technology.

Irradiation procedures comply with MIL STD, ESA/SCC, ASTM or other specifications according to your needs in terms of the CO60 dose rates, irradiation steps and parametric measurements. Parameters drifts are measured and registered thanks to our test benches.

TRAD owns an ARACOR system designed for X-Ray testing. The test consists in measuring electronic parameters drift at high dose rates for manufacturers Hardness Assurance :

  • Temperature and humidity controlled clean room
  • X-rays dose rate : 7 rad(SiO2)/s to 2 krad(SiO2)/s
  • Tests on wafers or decapsuled chips
  • Irradiation of designed kerfs or areas
  • Minimum beam focus: 4mm x 200µm
  • On line dosimetry and measurements
  • Precision low current prober cards
